Access: A Brief Conference

In collaboration with the Department of Media Studies of the University of Basel, Shift offers a short conference on the topic of its 2007 edition Access. Admission to knowledge, space and culture is a unique opportunity as well as a zone of conflict in our digital age. In three panel discussions the topic will be discussed. Theoretical approaches from the field of culture and media science will be linked to artistic, curatorial, political and juridical positions.
