The Graffiti Research Lab uses electronic means to extend the potential of traditional graffiti. The activism of re-appropriating public space remains the central focus because signs are set beyond the reaches of dominant commercial signs. Thanks to open source and 'do it yourself' manuals all of GRL’s projects are accessible. L.A.S.E.R. Tag is an opportunity to use video and laser technology to 'write' in real-time on buildings.
