BlackBenz Race, project, 2006/7

The latest project from Knowbotic Research is a semi-fictional motor race through Europe featuring a convoy of black Mercedes. The race is a visualization of translocal space that ensued from the migration of Kosovo Albanians across Europe. The metaphor of the illegal motor race serves as a means of investigating how public space and migrants’ networks interconnect.
