The File Room, online project, 1994

The File Room was initiated as early as 1994 as an online project and has since collated data on censorship, that is, on cases in which access to culture and knowledge is knowingly repressed. The constantly expanding archive makes these cases public and the public hence becomes the archivist of an enormous collection of primary sources.
