Jorge Haro (*1963, Buenos Aires) works in the fields of experimental electronic music and audiovisual and digital arts. He interlocks time and space at his concerts in a very personal way. verdens ender [basel] is an acoustic journey to Ushuaia (Argentina) and Skagen (Denmark) that takes place in complete darkness. Field recordings from two faraway places are combined live to create a new, imaginary soundscape. In u_xy [basel], by contrast, Haro links his complex sound and noise constructions with pictures of real cities and anonymous places of transit.
