Berlin artistic duo, Mikomikona researches the integral nexus of image and sound. They employ analogue means. Manually superimposing various screen tones on two overhead projectors generates structures that are subsequently filmed by a video camera. A circuit, of the duo’s own design, transforms optic signals into acoustic ones. Sounds are steered by the changing graphic effects. Simultaneous processes thereby merge image and sound in a single medium.
