In this audiovisual performance by Volker Böhm (*1971) a maximum of 320 pixels is transformed by means of video feedback into complex image patterns and figures. Each image oscillates out of itself due to the rotating image matrix and modulated levels of light and contrast. Each pixel thereby steers a sound generator, directly interlinks image and sound and constitutes in this way a homogenous entity.
