Video Programme

The video section of the programme consists of a curatorial selection of Swiss video art and entries to a regional open competition. Videos will be presented at an official screening followed by a discussion and can additionally be viewed at video stations in the Festival Centre for the duration of the festival.

Curators’ Programmes: the latest in Swiss video art
Each of the three national screenings comprises a compilation by guest curators of selected Swiss artists’ latest work.

Regional Open Competition
The regional screening ensues from an open competition launched in spring 2007. This consciously low-threshold offer targeted residents of northwest Switzerland, the Alsace and Baden-Württemberg who produce short films and video of any conceivable type. The Festival will present different compilations of selected entries at three screenings.
