Under the instruction of electro-tinkerers of the Swiss Mechatronic Art Society (SGMK) you can build your own noise-synthesizer or solar-powered robot in around 45 minutes; or, if you prefer, the ‘Shift Recorder’ specially developed for Shift 08: a mini-sampler for all your minimalist record-save-and-process needs. Beginners welcome; no previous knowledge is required.
