Kids can have a playful, hands-on experience of the festival theme ‘record
record’ thanks to Michael Bradke’s ‘Klangkanal’ sound channel, a range of equipment designed for making, modifying, saving and editing notes and sounds: everything the kids need to experiment with electronic music.

Michael Bradke (*1961) studied Musicology, Educational Science and Ethnology and was presented with Germany’s ‘Children’s Culture Award’ in 2000 for his many years of work at the interface of education and music.  He has been collecting ‘sound tools’ and musical instruments for his Mobile Music Museum for many years already, and will be personally on hand in the Kids’ Tent to explain the ‘Klangkanal’ to interested kids.

On Fri 24th October at 11.00 h (or earlier, on request), Michael Bradke will give a guided tour for groups or school-classes that book in advance.
